Lorraine and Mark were married in Luss today (Wednesday). The sun shone and a small group of friends and family had gathered in Luss to share the day with them. Lorraine walked down the aisle on Richard's arm before we sang 'Morning has broken', 'Give me joy in my heart' and 'Praise, my soul, the King of heaven'. There were lots of Bible readings: Brian read from the Song of Solomon, Christine read from Mark's Gospel, Richard read from John's Gospel and then the minister joined in with a reading from Ruth and one from Matthew's Gospel. It was a very happy occasion with photographs taken by our own Drew, with our own Lorraine as beadle and Rachel providing the music. After the service everyone made their way to the Loch Lomond Arms to continue the celebrations -- and all of the ladies present were wearing sashes or scarves in the Anderson tartan, which also adorned the orders of service. What a lovely day!
